2020 Upper Decks Park Board Showcase: Salomon Huck Knife Pro

With Upper Decks, SNOWBOARDER is providing our readers with insights, images, and other details culled from putting a handful of new terrain park performers through their paces for five days of jibbing, jumping, and carving amongst the freestyle features of Aspen Snowmass, Colorado. Providing the action and impression of the top park boards in stores this fall are former Forum pro and prolific video part protagonist, Eddie Wall and 2019 MS Superpark Standout Emma Crosby alongside the SNOWBOARDER Editorial Staff. Enjoy SNOWBOARDER's take on the Salomon Huck Knife Pro.

Today’s purveyors of park riding don’t discriminate between cheese wedges and sidehits and because of that, demand a snowboard that is stable in the jump line, smooth for hitting rails, and ready to tackle natural features found elsewhere on trails. With this in mind, Salomon created the Huck Knife Pro, a lighter and poppier version of their team-favorite Huck Knife. The combination of Salomon’s Quad Camber—traditional camber between the bindings and rocker on the tip and tail—makes for a forgiving ride that doesn’t sacrifice ollie power. The board’s flex and snap are enhanced by carbon stringers in Salomon’s Popster Booster core while the EQ Rad Sidecut provides the perfect balance of agility and fun. Salomon packed all of this performance tech in a classic blunt shape, with the end result being that whatever you decide to ride onto or off of, the Huck Knife Pro will perform.
